It doesn't work on all phones.  If you go into a shop to have your phone unlocked it will cost from £15 upwards.  They just use a generating computer programme which you could buy for yourself of Ebay for a couple of quid.

Hope this helps and sorry you've not managed to unlock your phone.   Try searching the net yourself that's what I did - all it cost me was time.
