Have you been in edelweiss!?! which is located in gramisch,germany...?

i have! i was gonna go the 25th except someone in my family got sick...so sad!

Yup, we spent 3 days there last year just before it started raining and Garmisch got flooded.. But up until then it was fabulous!!!! Nice rooms, great view from the balcony, excellent staff, good food, went to the Zugspitze and hung out for quite a while (played barefooted and in tank tops in the snow - where else can you do that!), explored Garmisch and just had a great time. Garmisch is great and the Edelweiss Lodge can only be recommended. They have a nice little pool area for the kids and a small spa, a nice little gym with everything you need, a small arcade, a really cool fireplace and outside the hotel area are the Alps - what more can you ask for? Try going back there if you can, summer or winter, you´ll like it! I know we´ll be going back!

You can visit tons of fun places while you´re there (Castles like Linderhof, the whole Oberammergau region with tons of things to see etc.) and are in the middle of great sports opportunities like Mountain Biking, Hanggliding, Skiing, Hiking etc..

So go back as soon as you have the chance and have fun! Just prepare for any sort of weather since it can change in the Alps from one day to the next.
