Something "light" for a Sunday morn

Judgment

judge not the threads

nor hair nor color

without first wearing

the person’s soul

so, remove the shell

undo the armor,

and gaze beyond

for charades are played,

caricatures viewed

but really touch…

and then you’ll know

  1. And you have touched me this morning, with light, on a very gray day.  Thanks.

  2. Well done - to get out of our own shells - to feel the world and be vulnerable. That is often hard to do. The shell is also very easy to slip back into - just forget about it - for a moment - and the barriers go back up. ♥

  3. Beyond the armor lies poetry. That is how I judge. You will be on Mars on Judgement Day.

  4. There are always those for whom the bell should be tolling, but they just haven't died yet.  They are called trolls.  This poem is too good to be marred by troll graffiti.

  5. "How shall I compare thee to  Summer's day?"

That's about it. On the other foot, I haven't stepped into anyone else's shoes lately.

Is it possible to "touch" anyone outside of the "Poetry" section? (maybe Philosophy)

  6. Shall I judge these trolls, that seem to be rolling thumbs down!

"Those without ___ cast the first stone."

  7. "Hi!",

Drink plenty of water to get rid of impurities. which they say can cleanse your mind and your soul.

    Lovely pure verse : )

    Cheers: )

P.S: I liked how you make poems  up within 5 minutes or less. : )
