If you have then could you PLEASE describe to me how it feels to be up there, all your emotions, how everything looked like etc.

I will be writing an essay on it and it has to be as realistic as possible so I need a detailed account from someone who has actually been on it. Please help me!!! thank you sooo much, I will be more than gratified if you answer me.

  1. Well, you literally have the city at your feet. I prefer viewing from the first level, as things are more distinct to you--it's a bit cheaper too.

  2. the eiffel tower is the most breath taking thing I have ever been on. even on the elevator as it was climbing to the top I was almost going to faint because of how beautiful the city looked at night. i was extremley overwhelmed (mostly cause I'm afraid of heights) but it was amazing.

  3. Yes. It was a beautiful sight. It was in the evening when I arrived, I can never forget the beautiful bulbs sparkling like fairies around the majestic tower. When I got to the top, Paris was spread out before me, in such elegance, I can never help saying, the Eiffel Tower is magnificent. I would recommend it to you if you ever wanted to go somewhere.

  4. it is a site to for some one in their life time !

  5. Yes, we walked up to the premier etage and took the lift to the second.

Walking up the stairs on one of the legs gives a great sense of being part of the structure.

The view is great, you get the impression that the french actually designed the city.

  6. It is really something to see the City of Paris from the top.  I have been up several times, I usually rode the elevator, its glass, and it doesn';t go straight up, it curves up along one of the legs and it goes pretty fast, it takes your breath away, and the first stop up is just an large observation deck, then you go on up to the top, its fastastic, you can see for miles, and there is a restaurant at the top but I always went to look, not eat.  Paris is beautiful from any angle.

  7. The following is copyrighted by me, so do not quote it directly.

I felt a huge thrill riding the lift up the leg of the tower.  It was night, and Paris certainly lived up to its name as the City of Light.  On the way up, the blue twinkle lights came on for their hourly show.  At the top, the wind blew through my long hair and made me very glad to have an extra sweater.  I walked along each side of the platform, taking photos that came out a little blurry because the wind was moving the tower just slightly.  It was amazing to see the illuminated city from up high.  Special illumination marked many of the most important buildings of the city, while on a field next to the tower two teams battled for victory on the soccer field.  Eventually, the wind chilled me enough to drive me from my aerie high in the sky.  Disappointment wrapped me in its dark cloak as I stood in line to go down to the ground.  I felt like I was leaving the top of the world just as I would be leaving my favorite city the next morning.
