  1. Half-way!

    Went to Madeira at the beginning of April for 2 weeks

    Came back from Lake Garda (including Verona and Venice) 3 weeks ago.

    Going to Edinburgh for a few days in a couple of weeks to see the Military Tattoo in Edinburgh Castle.

    Taking a boat along the Trent & Mersey canal, then the Staffs & Worcs canal to The National Boat Festival, at the end of August.

  7. If you count honeymoon, yes, we've just come back from a beautiful par t of Mallorca called Monte Christo.

    The weather was between 32 and 35 degrees every day, it was a wonderful time, it's a beautiful island which sometimes gets bad press because of places like Magaluf, which is great if your partying, but there are some lovely quiet, pretty resorts also.

  11. Not yet! The cost of gas is holding me back. I wan't to drive to my brothers home. It is a 4 hour drive each way. To pay for the gas i would have to go to the bank and get a loan! lol

  12. Yes, I'm fortunate to have reached a stage in life where holidays come on a rolling basis and not just once a year in summer.

    Been to Iceland and Tenerife so far this year with another two trips to Tenerife penciled in before the end of the year. That's the good thing about Tenerife, it's a viable sunny beach holiday destination all year round.

    Just in the early stages of planing a visit to New Zealand in March next year.
