  1. About four weeks.

Any longer call the 800 number and they will tell you.

If you're lucky you can buy a couple tanks of gas, OR some heating oil for the winter.

  2. No sweet talk you wouldnt have received the  letter at the same time as the payment. .

I got my letter then I received my check via direct deposit a week later.

A friend of mine received the same letter as mine only with her specific information however on the bottom of the letter (and mine too...all of them had this because its a standardized letter) it said this is the amount you will receive but if you owe financial aid payments or some other type of payment... they will be subtracted from this amount and you will receive the balance.

My friends fin aid balance was bigger than the stimulus check so she never got 'stimulated'  lol

  3. Go to the IRS website and it depends on the last two of your SSN

  4. It all depends on your SS#. The 147 people just got theirs. What ever your first 3 numbers are determines when you will get the check, so I couldn't tell you when you will get it. Everyone got the "you will get a stimulus check" letter at the same time.

  5. Please go to IRS.gov  or type the phrase "where is my stimulus payment?" in your search engine.  There, looking at your income tax return, you will need to type in your filing status (ex. married, single etc...), nr of exemptions (which is also stated in your income tax, on the fist page in a little box, and your social security nr. of course. After clicking ok, you will see when, how much, and what method of payment you will get your stimulus in.
