  1. I thought America was quit interesting it had a variety of horse back riding, swimming camping in the woods. Some of the laws are different but its a lot like Ireland

  2. i loved the us anytime i was there and i was in Hawaii last year and it was brilliant the people are fantastic except a few blacks who i got the impression that the world owed them and that white people should be afraid of them  well each there own i suppose

  3. well i live in america and it is nice and i do not know really about that?   sorry

  4. I never saw the attraction to travelling to America, I'd rather see somewhere with a bit of culture and not just do the usual Irish thing and go to the states for either work or to buy cheap levi's ..I much prefer to go to asia instead..much more to do, nicer people, and better food...

hope I didn't offend any yanks

  5. I'm Irish born and bred and have been to the states about 9 times.  Here is what i think of the major places I have visited.

1.New York, nice town but waaay over-rated.  The city that never sleeps is a lie.  Try finding somewhere open close to Madison Square Garden at about 12am :)

2.Chicago, i liked it, similar to New York.

3.San Francisco, loved it, would go back in a heartbeat.

4.Orlando, again really liked it and that goes for the rest of florida too i visited.

5.San Antonio, ahhh hated this place, my friend described it as looking like Chernobyl

6.Salt Lake City, the exact opposite of San Antonio, clean, peaceful, beautiful.

7.Las Vegas, probably the greatest city in the world, been there 4 times already and will continue to go back again and again.  The real city that never sleeps, forget the BS about New York.

8.Los Angeles, tack central, homelessness everywhere downtown, what more can i say??

Been all around the states expect the north-west (Seattle area) and I found the West (california, nevada, arizona, utah) to be the most beautiful and peaceful

The USA is like any country you visit, there are some great spots, some bad spots and some ok places.

  6. Yea i was there last year. Found that the people that livem in manhatten the most ignorant and unhospitable people in the world. On the other hand I found floridians one of the kindest. Saw that there is also not as much prosperity as we are led to believe. Great country though, although you should make it mandatory to pay a proper minimum wage to people and not having them rely on tips. I dont mind tipping but the customer should not have to pay for the employee to do a good job, the employer should.

I love Clearwater in florida would go back again in a heart beat.
