We're going to see blood on the southern cross and wondering if anyone out there had the dinner that can be included if you pay anything extra. What was it like? Wsa it worth it or would you recommend forgetting it and just eating elsewere before the show?

  1. Sothern Cross is the site of the first rebellion named the Eureka rebellion in Australia. The name of the evening show at the location is called Blood on the Sothern Cross. As it is an evening show you may buy dinner by paying extra.

Sovereign Hill is a sort of theme park dedicated to the history of Gold Mining from the years 1851 onwards. Both are in separate locations but in the same town of Ballarat. The coach companies which take you there from Melbourne are AAT kings and APT. But dinner is not included in their day tour.

  2. As you would expect its not a gourmet meal, and there were probably around 30+ people there..However, its good to meet other people and partake in the atmosphere of the local pub within Sovereign Hill, before seeing Blood on The Southern Cross. Just take the meal for what it is and how much you paid.  Have a great time we really enjoyed the show.

  3. Yes & yes.

Get the lot & enjoy it.
