We've been told it's a nicer place to visit than Dublin. My nephew said that Dublin is over commercialised?

  1. I think your Nephew is right I have been to both many times and now find Dublin to be very much like being in London especially the nightlife Cork still has that Irish identity and feeling and people seem a lot friendlier there

  2. IT'S FAIRLY QUIET IF U LIKE THAT

THE WEEKENDS LIVEN UP AT NIGHT NOT AS MUCH AS LIVERPOOL OR NEWCASTLE

    DUBLIN'S OVER RATED

COME OVER WE LOVE SWEET ENGLISH ACCENTS

    U'LL DEFINATELY PULL LOL.

  3. Dublin is over commercialised ,cork is definitely better, try Cove up the coast its a lovely place

  4. I've been.  I found the people a little hostile to be honest.  I haven't been to Dublin in years, I tend to stay out of the cities except to visit family.

  5. they are both lovely, i prefer the buzz of dublin, altho it is expensize, cork would be better for a bit of a relaxing break

  6. I didn't think much of Dublin the first time I went there, but there is a lot to see there. Cork isn't the next best thing though. I liked it, but most of the people I met in Ireland didn't think it represented Ireland very well. It kind of reminded me of San Francisco; there are a lot of hills, but it lacked the character of San Francisco. Places that I would recommend seeing in Ireland are Galway and Killarney. Killarney is a small town, but I thought it was very charming. Galway is a bigger city, and it has a lot going on. If you want to see a big Irish city though, Dublin is the best. There is so much history, especially if you are in the right places, like O'Connell street. Ireland's a small a country though, you should be able to see it all!

  7. I spent a month in Ireland, and started

my trip in Cork. Much more laid back and

easy-going than Dublin. Dublin has it's good

points and fun things to do, but I prefer the

countryside towns. The people are very friendly

and the guys are REALLY s**y! I can't wait to go back!
