yes. i am in dubai. The ruler here is pretty innovative. Literally pumping billions of dollars to bring tourism to this small city.

They are building various islands (yes building islands)

Three islands in the shape of a palm tree. One island when completed in 2014 is said to be bigger than the whole of paris.

One more island will be the same as world map.

It was told all these islands have been already sold out so they are preparing another sketch for one more big island!!! - palm universe.

Apart from above world's tallest building 'Burj dubai' is also being constructed here. When constructed the height of the building will be more than 0.8kms.
