Hi i was wondering what hotels everyone has stayed in and their opinions on holidaying in Dubai!

i used to live there so didnt stay in hotels and they are all new since i left but my daughter went there couple of years ago and stayed at hilton jumeirah beach she said that was nice.

I stayed with friends so I had the best friendliest hotel in Dubai - sorry its not open to the general public!

I went to madinat - if you have a lot of dosh its absolutely amazing - treat yourself to a villa, they go cheap in the summer as its so hot.

Great clean not too expensivelivng.

Hotel Jumeirah Beach on the Jumeira Bech itself - next o none.

Tr Berg Al Arab if you have £1300 per night to pay.

I noticed you nickname and I recommend the Ridges hotel because it is in Wafi City which has some designer brands for shopping and has a great spa... or you can try something on Sheikh Zayed Road... anything on Sheikh Zayed road is amazing...

I'v always stayed at the Sheraton Hotel. This was years ago when Dubai was still Dubai. Now it is too hectic for my liking, but I'm sure that young people are having the best of fun over there. Many things to do during the day and at night and the duty-free at the airport is one of the best and cheapest in the world. You don't have to check the weather forecast, because it is always sunny. Good for your tan. Enjoy your holiday if you are going there....................

I f you are so rich that you can afford to go there, make sure all the clothing you wear to go through customs has NEVER been worn before, repeat NEVER, as any trace of drugs is a "Go to jail, do not pass go"!

For hotels... the rates are lil bit higher...

Fantastic place, been a couple of times.  Stayed at Jumeriah Beach hotel, the one on the beach by the Burj al Arab - free entrance to awesome water park

holidaying and shopping in dubai is a great idea...

itz a really great place... esp.. at night..

i have no idea about the hotels as i stayed in ma dad's home..

but there r lots of very gud hotels der... but u wil hv 2 spend a gud amount for accomdtn...

if you want to shop or get a tan than dubai is good. the night life is great and the desert safari is worth a try. hotels - depends on your budget.
