  1. Did you like it? Yea of course, So much so that I am currently living here.

Did you like the people? The people are respectful and honest. You get what you give and if you are fun and outgoing you will recieve lots of love back.

Did you like the food? of coarse! Peru has recently been called the gastronomical capital of the world. I believe we are in the guiness book of world records for having the most recipes in the world. If you don´t like the food here you have not eaten outside of your hotel or corporate fast food chain.

do you think it was too poor or just normal? A lot of areas aare very poor but the country is the fastest growing economically in SA.

do you like Lima? Yes I live here and there are plenty of things to do, we have just about everything any other big city would offer and our nightlife is crazy. Most clubs stay open til about 7am and on Saturdays the urban neighborhood come alive with their own concerts, festivals and block parties.

machu pichu? it was aight, haha been there a dozen times and it´s never the same way twice. Most jaw dropping place on the planet in my opinion. If you want to go to Peru check out www.karikuy.org for the best prices and tours.

  2. Have you been to Peru? No

Did you like it? I havent't been there silly!

Did you like the people? I like all people

Did you like the food? What food, but yeah, a full belly is nice

do you think it was too poor or just normal? Wth are you talking about?

do you like Lima? Sure... whatever that is

  3. I went to Peru in 2003 for about a month, first to the Peru part of the Amazon basin, then to Cusco, then Macchu Picchu, then Nazca, and other places.

The people vary but on the whole leave you to your own devices. I'd say they're a little suspicious of foreigners, particularly in the poorer parts. Unless they want to sell you something or want something else from you. However, if you need help or want to ask someone directions for example, they will be helpful.

The food as far as I can remember is quite basic, like chicken and rice or refried beans.

It was pretty poor in most places and some of the people are too keen to get your money.

    I didn't get to Lima

Macchu Pichu is all it is cracked up to be but the journey is either a trip on a jampacked train full of other tourists of lots of long cramped bus rides with the locals, their chickens and the produce!
