Have you been to Specsavers (today)?

I went to see what contact lenses are like and I think I prefer glasses!

I've only once been to Specsavers...

I got a frighteningly poor examination.

edit: why the thumbs down?  It was a simple fact.  

The single worst eye exam I have ever had. Crucial details of my history, medication, occupation, were not asked about, they failed to realise I qualified for a NHS exam, and could not provide informed dispensing for my Rx.  (The dispensing assistant did not know what a vertex distance was, for a start).

I'm not saying all Specsavers are like that, but that was my experience of the one I went to.
