  1. Venezuela has mostly catholic churches. There are some evangelical churches, and in Los Teques there is even a mormon church......no starbucks though....but just about every street corner has a panaderia (the original coffee shop) and they serve up the best coffee any way you want it...."con leche" which means with milk, "fuerte" which is basically a capuccino, "claro" which is the perfect cup in my opinion, or  "guayoyo" for the coffee pansies out there....and of course "negrito" which is straight black strong cup of coffee.....FYI...Venezuela does have wendy's, mcdonalds, subway, domino's pizza, papa johns pizza, blockbuster, chilli's, burger king, and even outback steakhouse....so maybe someday starbucks...who knows...anything can happen!

  2. Been there, mostly Merida, very beautiful perfect climate. Who needs Starbucks when you can grow coffee in you back Garden?

PS don't know about Baptist Churches but Iglesia Jerusalen in Merida City is great.

  3. There are many baptish churches but not a single starbucks.

    1$ = 2,15 BsF = 2.150Bs
