Costa Rica is beautiful and the people are very friendly. Just avoid San Jose, the rest is pure natural beauty. Depending on the area you visit you can see beaches, volcanoes or rain forest. Food is very good too, very fresh! There's a lot of adventure-type excursions you can take that are a lot of fun and affordable.
