Have you been to the Family Life Marriage Conference?

We were given a gift certificate to a Family Life marriage conference as a wedding gift, so we went to one when we'd been married for only a few months. We found it to be mostly interesting and informative. However, as far as "working" for us goes, I can't speak to that. We'd been married for only three or four months, so we were (and still are, a year and a half later) in a state of complete marital bliss, so we weren't attending the conference in order to address any problems - we just went because someone else paid for it. :)

They do have some sessions that get you thinking, and the speakers were all very good (and funny!) At one point, they have you write a love letter to each other, so we really enjoyed that.
