Have you been to the Galleria at Hatfield? What a dump - what did you think of it?

yes, this place was great.  I walked in, and dropped my pants and baked a loaf for everyone right now the sidewalk.  It smelt like rotting tomatoes with a hint of horseradish.  It was a real hot day and it was a steamy loaf for sure.  I love dumping there.

Overpriced small shops. Hate it...Give me Watford Harlequin any day!

i lived there when the galleria first opened - it was out of place even then with overpriced shops selling things that locals and students just didn't need

the cinema pushed the forum )next to the swimming pool) out of business - before that opened the forum used to show films at cut prices and have all kinds of shows and acts on (including the likes of Russ Abbot, the Bellamy Brothers and Ricky Valance)

trying to find a job to fit around studies at the galleria was a joke too - just mentioning being a student at an interview was enough to be shown the door - then those same employers would complain about 'not being able to find anyone to work here' (with the exception of MacDonald's)

I totally agree with you, that place has gone soooo downhill. I remember when it first opened and there was some really good shops there. You even have to pay to park there now it's a joke !!!!!
