disrepute  i dont think so the all black jersey is a highly coveted peice  of rugby tradition in nz now if you cant wear it would you yourself turn down the oppurtunity  to play the worlds best remember how italy were when they 1st made the worldwide stage. well evry kiwi knows that to bring your game up you have to play better teams since italy have been involved they have beaten quite a few international teams i say they will be a team 2 watch out 4 in the not to distant future score 79-14

HAHAHAH You and nonenzedder sound like a couple of home nation cry babies.  I think you both tuned in to try and find some hope of All Black weakness, or in nonenzedder's case, something to criticise about and you were both sadly disappointed.

I don't know how you can be bored by it.  Even the most die hard Italian fan has to show some respect to the entertaining and expansive style of the NZ team.

I also don't know what you mean by "Are these games worth playing?".  Italy are the #9 ranked team in the world.  They finished 4th in the 6 Nations where they were competitive against England and beat Wales and Scotland.  If this game wasn't worth playing, then should we just make the 2007 RWC a competition between NZ, Australia, South Africa France, Argentina, Ireland and England?  Italy are ranked higher or have beaten everyone else in the tournament.  I hardly think starting the competition at the QF stage is much of a World Cup.

Also, how on Earth is this bringing the game into disrepute???  I think you need to go look up the meaning of the word "disrepute".  If you really think this game matches that meaning, then I'd find that extremely strange.

Thought italy would do a h**l of a lot better (everyone did)..They didn't turn up for 30 minutes and got blasted..

All the games on tv today are going to be like this..btw.

No, you can't be bored by it as a true Rugby fan.  You have to respect any team on the merits of it's performance and certainly NZ have their merits.

They have displayed a very all round competent performance and Italy are by no means an easy team to beat.  Just look at the Six Nations.

Each team should be allowed to display their colours and I am sure Italy would rather stand up and be counted than dismissed, no matter the eventual outcome.

Good on all teams who take the field, and best of luck to all of them.
