  1. If book a cruise on an automated web site without ever speaking to someone about the price, you will over pay for your cruise. You cannot negotiate your price with a computer.

  2. The best place I found for the best deal on cruises is cruise compete.com you tell how much you can spend or what the cheapest price you found and they try to bet the price...I was able to get a balcony for thanksgiving last year on a 8 day cruise for $750 per person.....

  3. I book all of my cruises with this cie.

  4. We've used Cruises Only for our last 10 cruises and have had nothing bug GREAT service and prices.  Our agent is Mimi from Las Vegas.

    http://www.cruisesonly.com

  5. American's Vacation Center was a breeze and we got upgraded rooms. Great experience!! We saved money and got perks.

  6. well i have been on over 30 cruises in my lifetime, and ALL of them were booked through vacationstogo.com ....not one of the cruises were a bad experience....they have great prices, and onboard credit....there was absolutely nothing bad about it, and i strongly reccomend u using it

  7. I booked my second, fourth, fifth, sixth and tenth cruises using an online agent.  I booked my third cruise directly with the cruise line.  However, I booked my first, seventh, eighth, ninth and eleventh cruises with an agent that I have now established a good business relationship with.

My online experiences have been fine, including the fourth cruise where I changed ships and the sixth one where I called four times for a refund (which I received because the price went down).

Online agents are fine when you are experienced and you are booking a typical cruise.  Understand that you are not going to get personalized service.  Also, some agents (both real and online) charge a cancellation fee.  My current agent does not.  One online agent I used charged a booking fee.  So not only was the agency receiving a commission from the cruise line, they were charging me an extra $15.  My current agent does not charge a booking fee either.

However, I am getting interested in out of the ordinary cruises, and since I found a great travel agent, I will continue to book my cruises through him.

  8. i did not have look with American's vacation center.  I have used Cruise Value Center and others.  They were excellent experiences.  Cruise critics. com has a site that you can go to and there is a cruise qoute you can use.  you tell them the dates you want to travel and they cruise companies compete and give you qoutes on the cost.  you can pick an agent that way.

  9. I booked five of my cruises with cruises-n-more.com.  Good experience since I got good prices.

  10. Try www.spendlesstravel.com. They are with a company called Ultimate Choice Travel.  They have great prices, on their crusies... there are many cruise lines to choose from and many packages.. any questions .. call their concierge service.... which is alot of help....
