  1. I did mine 1974 to 1980 and it was hard work.  I had kids and a full time job etc but I did it.  I came out with a BA (Hons) in English and History.  I have done associate courses for interest but didn't take the exams, and have done a 3 year Diploma course in French.  The costs of the courses have rocketed over the years.  Personally, I think an OU degree is worth its weight in gold, because (generally) you are doing it whilst juggling 20 other commitments.

  2. I've taken a few OU courses and I must admit that I've never felt elated when I handed it my final assessment or took the exam.  I always felt really tired!  However, when the results came through and I passed, I felt great.

It is so hard to juggle coursework with everything else that is going on in your life, but it is really worthwhile in the long run.

Keep your chin up.  The rewards will come.
