Have you done rafting in the upper yough in friendsville (MD)?

Question

Me and my wife are going white water rafting next weekend in the upper yough river at friendsville (MD). These are supposed to be class 4-5 rapids. I would have typically thought that only experienced rafters would be allowed to ride rapids of this class. But I believe the company we are going through, actually allows novice rafters to go along with experienced guides.

Does anybod have experience of riding these rapids? Is it advisable for novices to go along with experienced rafters?
