  1. Yeah, I've eaten there.  A little pricey but the BBQ is quite good.

The BBQ wings are a little spicy, they surprised me a bit...corndog appetizer is good.

I think I went for the Virgil's Pig Out once - ribs, chicken, brisket + sausage with 2 sides.

  2. Go right across the street and eat at Trattoria dopo Teatro for some of the best, authentic Italian food in the city.

I know your question is about BBQ, but I'll recommend dopo Teatro because it's on the same block as Virgil's.

  3. Yes, I've eaten there a few times. The food was good, but it was a bit like a theme park of a restaurant. It felt like a tourist place, not a real NYC restaurant.

  4. Nope, I am faithful to Brothers BBQ downtown.

  5. Mediocre at best.

  6. yes and it aint all dat
