To change ones perspective, outlook in life, and alter ones fate.  A lady called me nine years ago. She wanted to remain anonymous but spoke thus. Maybe If I had pleaded with her life might have been different. I am cursed horribly.

This is a highly philosophical question. It is still being debated.

Who am I? If we all analyze everyday on this question, we will become wiser day by day. After all, all of us are made up of flesh and bone. If we look at ourselves, we are all made up of "matter" in the form of flesh and bone. We differ only in our mental attitude and mental approach to life.

From a further analysis, we are all made up of earth, water, fire, air and space. Similarly the whole of universe is also made up of the same five substances/elements.

We, therefore, differ in our name and form. Otherwise all of us are flesh and bones.

I think about who I am all the time. I'm supposed to live up to every one's expectations but I don't. I am who I am and if people don't like it, oh well. I'm a pisces and i have an astrology book. That's helped me to understand my moods better, my sensitive nature. It's helped me to know others around me, who i attracted to, etc...

It's only natural to wonder who you are, not in a literal way, but in the way where you want to know what your true personality is, or if its just being altered by those around you, or if you are someone totally different than you think you are, like if your family isn't your family, or if your friends aren't really your friends, or if your smart, dumb, clever.

All these things race through your mind, but the truth is, you never really find your whole self.

Yes, as a contemplative exercise.  

This question is misleading.  "Who am I?" is not the real question but "what?" is the more suitable one.  "Who?" is the finished product of "what."  People believe that they are there character, personality, the content of the mind, the body, emotions or feelings.  All these things are fleeting and temporal.  The "what?" is what we always are.  

Because "who?" implies separateness and individuality it cannot truly allude to the truth that we are all together in the same place sharing the Oneness of Life.
