We had a birthday party for my grandpa today he turned 92 and that is what he wanted to eat.

    my mom and dad loved them (in their 80s)

    i think it has something to do with them being raised on a farm and they didn't have a lot to eat so they used all parts of the animals they raised and killed.... nothing went to waste back then... but you can buy them in stores along with cow tongues..... and so forth....

  3. You don't really  consume the Feet! The lower leg is cooked/cut at the lower joint. After boiling, the meat is gnawed off the Bone. The Hoof,(toes) are not eaten! The toes are discarded with the Bone still attached!

  4. No, but I've been at a BBQ in Texas where they served them and I passed them by.  I've never tried them and wasn't ready (or hadn't had enough beer) to try them.   I'm a city girl by heart and I had never even seen them!!!!
