Have you ever ate shark meat? Is it good?

I've eaten it a bunch of times and even served it one of the restaurants I cooked in. I personally like it grilled with a teriyaki glaze. And I HATE teriyaki. The texture is probably closer to swordfish, wahoo and tuna but not overly fishy

He said  ..Itz similar as salmon fish ....

& my friend says that the combination of

sharks meat & aloo parata is wonderful !!

I have eaten it and it is a good meat, but I would never eat it again because the shark fishing industry is wiping out sharks in the western Pacific.  

The worst thing they do is finning, where they catch a 1000 pound shark and hack off its dorsal fin and then throw the shark back into the water to die in agony.  They have caught boats with over 500 fins in the catch.  This kind of fishing is unethical and destroys the natural ecology of the ocean.

when my daughter, amy, and i were guests of the united nations for earth day in 1990, we were taken for one fancy dinner at the trump plaza hotel in new york city-i wanted to eat something i could never eat in saskatchewan, so i ordered the shark steak-wow!!-was it ever yummy!i would eat it every week if i could! try it, you will not be sorry!
