Just want to ask cause I was curious. If you've ever been knocked out before while boxing, what was it like? And what happened, because when my friend got knocked out I couldn't get to see him for the rest of the day. I asked him how it felt but he just laughed at me, ha.

Weird question I know, but I was just wondering.

  1. I was never knocked out in competition. BUT, I've been knocked out cold three times during sparring. One of those times I was working the heavy bag when my trainer came up to me and asked if I was alright. I asked what he was talking about and he told me I was out cold for 3 minutes. I had no recollection of sparring or getting knocked out. A few hours later my right jaw "remembered". It was hurting really good.

  2. i love it nobody admits being kod hey why dont you guys go pro heavyweights please we need them make sure your a good fighter and not a bum

  3. I had a similar experience to woody. But instead of the pole it was a guy who was racing against another guy and runs into me with his big ol head! (grammar school) the kid was FAST... He ran the 60 yd dash in 5.75 sec! Dude knocks me out for like a sec then I get up wondering what happend before he does! So i guess I know what a flash knock out feels like! lol!!

  4. A long time ago while playing yard football, I had a collision with someones knee with my head and I lost.  I was out cold for a little while and it was a strange feeling.  In boxing, I've been stunned a few times, but never knocked out.

  5. I was rocked once, but never knocked out so I cant say from experience. But I've knocked guys out and seen guys knocked out.

Most of the time they seem alert and mentally ok but their legs don't agree with them. Ive been told by guys who have been that you don't really remember the feeling, just that you were awake and then you were awake again, the part in between i guess you don't remember.

So if you wanna find out, go get knocked out.

Ive been curious myself but never curious enough to let myself get knocked out.

When i was rocked i thought i was going to get knocked out but managed to survive even though I dont remember how. It felt like a light headache with dizziness and light headiness like the first time you smoked a cigarette if you ever have.

Your knees feel weak and things seem to go in slow motion and lights appear to be much brighter then they normally are. The sensation lasted about 15 seconds. I haven't felt it again and I dont want too.

  6. I was once knocked out during a sparring session.  I saw the punch coming and the next thing I remember I was waking up on my back with my mouth guard beside my head, haha.  I was told I was out for around five seconds. Everyone in the gym said I yelled right after I got hit, but I don't really remember that happening.  As for what it feels like, it took me a couple minutes to get the wobble out of my legs, and a couple hours later I was walking around town at a festival and a headache started to kick in.  I'm sure more severe ko's hurt much worse, but mine wasn't so bad.

  7. Hit hard, but never knocked out.

  8. Well lol you don't realli want to get knocked out because it may be very painful at first or embarrassing lol. I've never realli got knocked out but iv'e heard from others that you first just get realli dizzy from gettting hit so hard and then you just fall down and go right to sleep. It depends on how hard you get hit too i guess. U can get hit in the chin and sometimes it would just stun your legs so you can't move but sometimes the person would still be conscious. But you'd have a hard time getting up because you'll feel like your whole lower body and legs have just fallen asleep on you and that feeling is a little painful.

  9. I was knocked DOWN but not out. Basically, i got caught with a rite uppercut, next thing i kno, im on the floor. i got up quickly. it didnt hurt tho, i just got caught. but basically u black out for a second. it happens to everyone eventually. some worse than others, mines wasnt that bad

  10. I've never been knocked out cold in the ring, but I have been knocked out cold from running into a pole. From the pole experience, the only pain I remember was after I gained conscious, after being out cold for over five minutes (at least that's what I was told). The pain was from the actual point of impact (extreme soreness) as well as a nasty headache.
