Have you ever been haunted?

Not your house or your land... but you, as a person.

When I was in high school, I was sick for almost two years straight. I was just exhausted. My doctors had no idea what was wrong and I was sick of waiting around for them to figure it out. My mom got in touch with a medium/healer that her friend knows and has used before to see if she could help.

As I was sleeping, I guess she could get in touch with me and she found out there was a male spirit that was attached to me and he was draining my energy. She could tell by my aura (it was metallic gold), she said, that I was very sensitive (which I already knew) and it may not have been the first time a spirit has been attracted to me. She also said that I was on a very high spiritual level and am somehow connected to the archangel Michael, which I thought was pretty awesome.

Anyway, she removed the spirit from me... and a few days later, I felt so much better. I had energy again!

Great story btw. However, other than in Hollywood, nobody has ever been actually haunted - there is no such thing. Pure and simple.

only in my dreams. i really have these spooky dreams which makes me sweat a lot and go pale. but it would be cool, if it is real.

wow...thats pretty cool to somehow be connected to Michael..  i've not personally been haunted but i know it does happen.  and i'm glad i've never experienced that.

YES!  I do a lot of volunteer work with my parents at the Harris Kearney House in Kansas City. It was built before the civil war.  We had exerience with hearing footsteps, smelling cigar smoke, having objects in the house move around, etc...  No one felt threatened or anything, so we did not worry about it.  We were contacted by TAPS and they came to do an investigation.  They got evp's and other evidence after staying in the house for "dead time"  (my mom stayed over night, but I did not).  In the EVP's they can hear a man whistling.  There is a maid/servant who talks about how she likes to cook.  There was also the most "Activity" in the children's room of the house.  THis is the room where I always felt strange.  I never liked being there by myself.  Some of the members of the TAPS team also reported feeling touched (physically) by something while in the home--even though no one was around.  

THere was more, but it is too much to write about!  Anyway,  I did not really believe before, but now I do!!

I was never haunted like that, but one time some friends and I were checking out an allegedly haunted site where a young boy had been killed  when power lines fell on him. Well, nothing was happening, and I hate to say that I was disrespectful to the spirit by provoking it.  

Suddenly after, a smell of electrical fire filled my car and my friends and I decided to get out of there. Over the next three days, I felt like I was being followed. I got locked out of my house when I tried using my key that I've had forever but everyone else's worked. Then, I saw a shadow materialize after dropping my friend off.

So, the next day I went back to the site and apologized. It all stopped.

It was very weird. It could have been genuine or the product of my imagination. Either way, I will not do that again.

I don't know if this is what you meant.  But the people above put lame answers so I'll just share this:

I once went to a house that was haunted, and I did some EVP's to first test to see if there were actual spirits there.

I heard voices on those EVP's, so they were real.

I had been asking "If anybody is there, what's your name?"

One recording came up saying "Name zaza" lots and lots of times (I do still have the recording but can't put that on Yahoo)

Another one came up saying my name.

After this, I tried getting rid of the ghost/spirit by what my friend told me.  I think I did something wrong because the spirit did leave.... but I got Really sick for the next 3-5 days.
