  8. Hi, I have travelled all over Italy and would recommend it to you. It depends on what you are looking for. It is like saying what is England like.  It is such a diverse country take your pick of the cities or coastal towns Venice is beautiful as is Florence. Travel to Sorento for a lovely coastline, go down south and visit Sicily and the islands off the north east coast and see the active volcano or indeed Mount Etna on the mainland Sicily.  Yummy, I want to go back now. Learn a little of the language before you go to enrich your visit.  Ciao.

  20. we went to italy for our honeymoon. we went to rome, florence, venice. with stopovers at pisa, verona and orvieto. i like florence better than rome because it's so peaceful at night strolling along arno river. i also adore orvieto, a small hilltop town.

would love to go back to italy when i'm older and richer... as we travelled very thriftly, everything's expensive (after converting euro to peso we really felt the sting)

  21. Somewhere in the middle where it was very snowy and cold!

  22. Yes.. Rome is absolutelly beautiful and great

Milan is nice, but has a very european/amsterdam like.

  23. Yeah, I went to Italy about 8 years ago with my school mates. We did a tour and visited Rome, Venice, Fiorenze, Verona, Sienna and also the Italian coast. I didn't visit Milan then, so in March this year I went there on holidays! Milan is simply amazing!! so glamorous!!! so many shops!!! so many trendy people!!! Anyway any place in Italy is lovely, you will enjoy no matter where you go!!! Good luck!!

  24. Hitch_hiked to Naples once and flew out to

Pisa another time (I didn't get as far as

Florence which was my aim). In both cases

I wasn't well (too much pressure).

I set off every alarm on Pisa airport for having

too much lire change in my pockets and the

security guard took a step back and put his

    hand on his holster. (scary)
