As I've seen on television programs, prison cell are all horrible place to be. Scary place, dirty, cold, and full of misery and mystery.

I value freedom.

If it helps at all, what you watch on Oz or Jailbreak is absolutely nothing like actual prison. It is highly "glamorized" and made specifically to keep your interest for ratings.

Prison is highly regimented. We do the same things at the same times each day. All Correctional staff watch for anything out of the usual as this is a sure sign that someone is up to something. Just because the criminals are locked up, it doesnt stop them for a moment in trying to violate the law every minute they are awake.

My wife enjoys watching the prison movies for the enjoyment and I dont burst her bubble with the incredible discrepancies that I see. I can understand that they wont use a technical advisor since it would destroy the entire plot line, but I sit and laugh at some of the depictions they portray.

No...My freinds dad was in there for about 3 days because he was accused of stealin a car...He got out though..

She told me it was like soooo BORING. The food was discusting it feels like ull die but the food there just tastes bad it has a lot of vitamins and protien in there..

The Tele is not going to give you verry correct info. Movies and shows are either COmedy, Drama or action. Jail is Jail.

No, I have to work to give all of the prisoners three squares a day and all the weightlifting equipment they need so when they get out they will have superhuman strength and do a much better job robbing convenience stores.

Yes, I have been to prison, many times.

When I was around 13, I started stealing cars to joy ride, I was locked in what is called 'Detention Centre' which was for under 17 year olds.

I progressed through the criminal fraternity and also through the prison system. The longest sentence I recieved was 6 Yrs & 10 Months, of which I served 4 yrs & 10 Months. I was on what is called Good Order & Discipline and shipped all over the place on a regular basis. I went fromone prison to another, 9 in total, ending in Risley.

Prison is no fun, Yes you can have things like Stereos, Playstations, Food, TV, Trainers, Gym, Church etc, but you have no freedom, no family and no friends, so its better to stay clear of trouble, to ensure you do not ever go to prison.

I am now a youth worker and have turned my back on crime, it is hard because as a criminal I am used to have plenty of money to spend, so being straight is a change of life for me, but one I enjoy.

Crime is for lazy people, as is prison.
