  1. I have never been in St-Tropez, but I was in and out of Monaco for a few hours.

I am not sure why you are asking this question.  I notice you have posted it under 'Immigration'.

As a tourist destination it is not as elitist as I expected it might have been.  It has evidence of working people living in it, as well the the super rich, if clothing that has been hung out on the lines to dry is any indication.

Citizens of Monaco are not allowed to gamble in the casino, so it is necessary to produce a passport in order to gain entrance into the casino.

Politically, it is classified as a constitutional principality.  It shares its currency with France.  In area, it is under one square mile, so you can walk from one place to another within it quite easily.

On television I once heard of someone who moved there to work and had a lot of trouble in dealing with police and justice authorities after he became a suspect in a crime.

It has quite a few attractions to entertain tourists in proportion to its size.
