Never been on one but how funny you ask.

My sister was working at a store and this guy comes in and was asking about canoe's. Yeah, they are married now, 6 years so far, LOL

Yes.  It's great fun, just don't lean too far out to the side!  Dragging yourself back into said canoe after going head-first into the river is less amusing.
