how would you relate your experience there?

.Yes,I was fixing the plumbing, and I was made most welcome. Makes my memory water thinking of some of the sweethearts I met that evening. Shame on their abusers!

Yes, I had a great experience there in terms of how I was treated there.  I felt welcomed, they helped me find a place to stay, feed my baby, and find a job.  I also met some really nice women and their kids - who like myself - didn't deserve to be in a situation like that in the first place.    

I was strong enough to get away from my abuser and stay away - I only would wish the same for everyone.
