Question:

Have you ever been in a conversation with someone who keeps looking at your crotch area?

This woman at work always mentions "how good [I] look." (I think her husband's g*y.) Today, during our conversation, she kept looking at my crotch. I found it someone startling. She's higher ranking than me, so I don't flirt back.

Now I know how women feel about their b***s being ogled.

What are some polite ways to get a person you're talking with to keep looks above the neck?

  1. My b***s? Yes. My crotch? No. I would never look at a guy's crotch. Honestly, what would be the purpose?

  2. Yeah, I've been in plenty of conversations were guys look at my b***s and not my eyes.

Try to sit down whenever you talk to her, and cross your arms over your upper legs.

  3. well not at my area there but at my b*****s and i told them flat out my eyes are up here not there ,

  4. I can picture it.

Try talking to her but as soon as her eyes go down...turn your body slightly to one side..try to make eye contact (very important or it won't work)...and rub your eye or brush your hand through your hair (forcing attention upwards)

The eye contact kinda says "hey what the h**l?!" and the hand near your face says "up here please!"

  5. ha ha sorry about that, i could'nt help it....

JK -  it sucks doesn't it? Try to shift yourself in a position that it is not in her view like behind a desk or something? If all else fails use the line "hey my face is up here not down there"

wow what jenno209 said about the hand through the hair thing does work! Most guys think we run our hand through our hair cuz we are flirting with them. That is the real reason we do it...LOL

  6. Just put your hands on your lap.

  7. There really isn't a polite way to get their attention. You might literally cover the area being stared at with a notebook or something. Or even look there yourself where they're staring and ask the person if you spilled something on yourself.

I've always wanted to do the "my eyes are up here" move but haven't. I just complain to someone about it later. Why do people not know that others can see it?

It's especially weird when it's someone you know relatively well. I hope someone out there has found a more polite way to get someone to stop.

  8. I like to say, "Hi, I'm up here."
