  1. The one crisis I remember the most is the Loma Prieta earthquake that struck the Bay Area on October 17, 1989 @5:04 p.m. I was at Luckys with my mom shopping for snacks to watch the World Series on T.V. (A's vs. Giants).

My mom was 8 months pregnant and she grabbed my hand and we tried to run but we ended up falling on the floor. We ducked and covered our heads because everything was flying off the shelves.  I remember hearing glass bottles breaking and I even saw the floor moving like tidal waves.

  2. OK so i was in Jamaica, and i went in the whirl pool, and stupid me i forgot to wear a life jacket, i thought the life jackets were just 4 babies, and the water wasn't like those little those little whirl pools that u don't need life jackets for, so i went in, i was like literally drowning, and it was too strong i was holding on to everything but then i quickly grab the handle, and my dad was pulling me and pulling me, finally i survived and got out, i was close to drowning and dieing, and the sad part was no one was even helping me, except for my dad.

So that's it, i was so relieved when i got out! And i was only like 10 or 11 here.

  3. Does being on an escalator that suddenly stopped count?  How about if someone actually stood there and said "What do we do now?" and you had to yell "WALK!" to get the people moving?

  4. sorry no story

  5. Yes, many.  Tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricane, near death experiences, six car crashes... there's a big target painted on my back, I know it!

I guess the creepiest two situations were right out of movies.  Remember the scene in "Twister" when the tornado ravaged the drive-in movie theater?  That was me when I was 4 or 5.  I remember bits and pieces from it; thankfully, I have little recollection of the fear of the situation.

The other was similar to the scene from "Final Destination" when the boy envisions the airplane exploding and gets off of it, only to watch it explode in the sky.  I was supposed to be flying on TWA Flight 800, from New York to Paris, but we changed our plans so we could stay an extra day and ended up flying out of Dallas.  My life was spared, but there were people on that flight who I would have met and toured with had the plane not exploded.  Of course, we were oblivious to the news until we landed and our courier said, "Oh, you made it; I didn't know if you would."  Watching the news reports were haunting.

  6. Two car crashes, one Hurricane ,Several snow blizzards, one armed robbery (as the victim), one Tornado
