Have you ever been in a physical fight with your partner?

No, never. I did knock him down once but it was an accident when we were playing volleyball. We collided.

Only once, and she started it by hitting me over the head with a beer bottle (full).  I hit her only once, but it broke her jaw and knocked her unconscious.  When she got up, I gave her the choice to get all her stuff and leave immediately or I would call the cops and have her arrested.

She left, I cleaned up the mess, and that was the one and only time I've been physically violent with a girlfriend.

With my current partner — no.  

With my ex:  all the time.  (He had a HORRIBLE temper, had no concept of the word "boundaries", and did not accept a "no" answer from anybody!)

Only once. My ex had been in a relationship before me with an abusive guy. one night while we were sleeping i was awakened by a punch to the face. my ex, still dreaming, kept trying to punch me. i slapped him hard against his face to wake him up. turns out he'd been having a dream his ex was trying to kill him. it was all accidental/misunderstanding and he apologized profusely, but i was sporting a nice lump on my face for a week.

No. After witnessing so much domestic violence in my house growing up, all I want is a peaceful, relationship with love.

Unfortunately yes. It's a horrible thing; Ive experienced it in almost all of my relationships. It will definitely break you down mentally and spiritually.

Well, she's not my partner anymore for obvious reasons, because she tried to attack me with a butcher knife.  But before that, she would hit me, pull my hair, cut up my clothes, throw sh*t at me, and even her kid would come up behind me and hit me in the back of the knees and knock me off balance.  Her kid even spit in my face!  

So yeah, highly dysfunctional and abusive relationship, and since I don't believe in hitting a woman, I finally left her psycho a**.
