YES! And at first, (last year) I was as nervous as i could be. But then after I spent a summer going to summer meets and w a winter going through REALLY competitive meets I was fine. I love swim meets now, and it's so much fun cheering with all your friends! AS for what happens, theres a bunch of people (swimmers) and you have events and when your event is called you go up behind the blocks. This guys says "Take your mark" and then "BLEEP" And everyone dives in. yeah it's nervewracking sometimes but still fun.

I was a competative swimmer (aau) as a teen...practiced everyday and generaly had meets every weekend during school year...several times a week during summer...would never know it to look at me now...lol
