that in fact there was nothing fascinating about them, what really fascinated you was the way they helped you revealed a truth about... yourself?

  1. yeah i thought so, but it turned out he lied to me about everything

and i realized who  i am

and i don't put up with anybody's bull shitt lies anymore

    xD

  2. Infatuated/somewhat obsessed, yes.  In love, no, thankfully.

  3. Well, there's nothing particularly fascinating about me -I'm pretty average as far as height, weight, intellectual capacity and looks (only my large moustache makes my appearance at all noteworthy). My life is rather mundane, but sometimes I help my friends/family by giving them some insight into their own lives. Hopefully this won't render me unlovable.

  4. Oh yes indeedy! I loved him but then I was thinking WHY?

He's an idiot, a cheater, he doesnt know what bereavement means, he didnt know what the holocaust was, he had a girlfriend and a baby, and he was possessive.

The way he looked and made me feel clouded his true self. When I wasnt with him I dreamt him up to be the greatest thing that i thought I couldnt live without.

  5. Sounds like a good reason to be in love with a person actually. We 'love' people because they add a benefit to our lives. Sure, you don't 'love' your parents the way you love your bf/gf or the way you love your best friend or your favorite tv show, but love is love is love.

I loved my stuffed dog when I was 6 or 7. I don't still love it but I don't go back and try to say I didn't love it either. Fascination is just as good a reason to love someone, while you do, as any.

  6. No, not me.  When I'm in love, I'm in love...  Nothing else to it.
