  1. Two years ago, our high school performed the musical "Back to the Eighties" and during the curtain call on Parents' Night- literally thirty seconds before the whole thing was over- a piece of the stage broke and collapsed. Twelve cast members fell about six feet into the orchestra pit. No deaths or permanent injuries, and the show was postponed for about three months, at which time we had to perform in a different theater.

  2. I have had a cracked wrist bone, but I still had to preforem in the dance recitle=]

  3. Well, in one of my dance recitals, I was in the middle of my lyrical routine, did my leap, and I landed wrong and fractured the bone on the outside of my right foot, the one that runs down the pinky toe side. That one HURT!

Also, in The Hobbit(actually it was a rehearsal), we were in the middle of the big goblin vs. dwarf fight, and got smacked square in the face with a wooden sword... that one left a nice black eye for a week... That was before we had the master class on stage combat...

I knew a girl that broke her ankle in Bye Bye Birdie when her shoe broke in one of the dance numbers, and my dance teacher had a fall in a recital and broke her wrist when she caught herself, too.

  4. Well...it was a while ago but during my middle school play when I was in 7th grade-Toy School (I was Ted E. Bear), I had to run and hide underneath a desk which was on a riser and I hit the riser with my leg so I was limping for a good couple of minutes, but the show goes on.
