Have you ever been on a Disney Cruise?

Is it ok for an adult couple to go that doesn't have kids?

Or is it just for kids?

I'm a HUGE Disney fan but I don't want the vacation to be too childish.

  1. We introduced our daughters to cruising on the Disney cruise at ages 5 and 7.

    They loved it.

However, as a cruise veteran, I found it to be a children's cruise that accomodates adults....not an adult cruise that accomodates children.

Mickey Mouse overload for me and my husband. Even the dining rooms are decorated to entertain children.

However, as a cruise line, Disney is very efficient and professional.

  2. My wife and I went a few years ago (we are late 40's) without any kids and had a great time.  The good thing is they segregate a lot of area as adult only - so you actually have a lot more areas that are "kid free" than on most other cruises like RCCL.

The cabins are roomy, the service and food was better that Celebrity, ship stayed spotless, their upscale resturant (Palo) is a terrific value on an unforgettable evening of dining.

Oh yeah even their private island has a "no kid" beach area, that was so beautiful and quiet - simply the best!!

I'd give it overall a high recommendation, GO for it!

  3. As a HUGE Disney fan, I think it will be OK for you to go on a Disney Cruise.  Disney is for both children & adults, the matter is how much you love to see Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and their friends.  Here is some tips on visiting Disney & cruise http://funfunship.ws

  4. definetely. disney cruise ships are made for everyone and provide many activities for adults. they have a  private adult pool with no kids allowed, adult clubs, a special adult resteraunt, a wonderful spa that offers romantic packages, a private adult beach on castaway cay, and many other things (including proffesional photographers that will take you picture with the characters!!)

  5. we cruised last spring on disney with our 4 year old, but it can be for adults also.  they have an adult only pool area with hot tubs and no one under 18 can be allowed.  they also have a spa, dining restaurant that is reservation only, and an adult only area of the disney island.  take the later dining time and eat breakfast and lunch in the dining areas instead of at the buffet.  the broadway type shows, and other activies make it a great adult cruise.  our daughter went to kids club alot so my husband and i had some alone time.  the ports are great as well.  enjoy!
