Have you ever been on a Pet Vacation

Hello i just came back from my doggie vacation and i was wondering if you have ever been on a vacation with your pet?

My current pet is a cat and he has a fit if you try and take him outside, lol. When I had my German Shepherd people were afraid of him so I couldn't take him with me.

I took my rabbit to Vegas with me a couple of weeks ago.  Everytime I go on vacation I usually leave him with my mother inlaw.  She's kinda devoid of emotion and doesn't pet him or anything.  I didn't want him to be lonely so I brought him with this time.  It actually worked out surprisingly well.  He did great in the pet carrier on the drive to and from.  I put him in a large zippered bag to smuggle him into the hotel.  He popped his head out a few times and gave me this look that said "Please let me out mommy I promise I'll be good!"  

He's never really been very sociable.  When we let him run around our yard he stays in the yard but never comes over and sees what we are doing.  When we let him run around the hotel room, he was a whole nother rabbit.  He was hopping up on the beds and l*****g our faces.  He wanted us to chase him around the room.  I think he needed the vacation more than we did.  I'm gonna start bringing him with me more often.

Yeah, I went a vacation with my dog (Alex) We went on a canoe and rode around for 2 days :]

No I havent as I have 2 New Zealand Huntaways(Large Dogs), 3 cats , an old shelia and a partridge in a pear tree
