  1. hello,

if you want read something about cruise ship

i just come accross this blog which may help you :-

  2. Cruises are all pretty much the same when it comes to what is included in the price.  You won't have to pay for food or non alcoholic drinks.  Additional costs are alcoholic drinks, gambling, spa treatments, and shore excursions.  Explore what is available to find what best suits your desires.

  3. go on line and search for cruise lines and find the cruise you want to take

  4. I'm not sure where to go to find one, But I went on a cruise to Greece a little bit ago, It was amazing. Especially if you like that kind of place to be, it was so pretty, we went around to all of the islands of Greece and stayed in Athens as well. This comin up summer i'm actually hopeing to go on a cruise to the bahamas!! that's the one i've heard the most about... going to the bahamas

  5. I have been on about 20 cruises on 4 different cruise lines and so here are some things that you need to know about cruising and purchasing them.

First,  cruises are all pretty much "all inclusive".  When you purchase a cruise it includes your cabin, all meals on ship including breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and 24/7 free room service. It also includes all entertainment on ship and free use of all facilities on ship except the spa. You can use the pools hot tubs, gymnasium, sports equipment and all other facilities and equipment free of charge. All ships charge for spa service like massages, hair and nail appointments, and yoga lessons. Some ships also charge a fee for certain services like the pool table, the bowling alley, or for special restaurants not included in your normal cruise price (there may be a $10 to $20 per person gratuity/service fee). Coffee, tea, milk, juices, punch, iced teas are included but you must pay for soft drinks and alcoholic beverages and a 15% gratuity will be added to each check each time you order a drink.

Then you will have to pay for anything you buy on ship like photos or souvenirs and any tours you book from the ship. And lastly you will pay a $10 per day per per gratuity at the end of the cruise. The only mandatory of all of these charges is the gratuity. So after you pay for your cruise the only other charge will be the gratuities.

Next, there are a number of variables and other things you need to know that affect the price of a cruise including, the number of days you cruise, what type cabin you select, whether you book your cruise very early (many months in advance) or late (last minute), and whether you go on a luxury cruise or a moderately prices cruise line.

Next, you need to know that all of the cruise lines give the best price for early bookings that are a year or more in advance. But, you can sometimes find a discount or deal price by searching the cruise lines web sites for their specials.

More, All cruise cabins are sold based on double occupancy and the prices listed will be per person and based on at least two people going on the cruise. You can go solo but you will have to pay a single supplement which is basically a double fare.

Also, the price of your cruise will depend upon the type accommodations that you choose and there are 4 basic types of cabins on ships; INSIDE (no window), OUTSIDE (a window or porthole), BALCONY/VERANDA, and SUITES. The "FROM" prices you see will always be for an inside cabin.

As for a dollar figure, I have listed below the web sites for the medium priced cruise lines which operate from US ports. There are some luxury lines that are much higher priced with prices starting around $4,000 for a 7 day cruise. The lines that I have listed below will have cruises starting in the range of $800 to $1,000 per person for a 7 day cruise, again depending upon the date and type cabin you select. They will have shorter 4 and 5 days cruises in the $500 to $800 price range, again depending upon when you book and how many days.

What I recommend is that you go to the cruise lines and click on the link for specials and browse what is available. I have been on Princess, Celebrity, Norwegian, and Royal Caribbean ships and can vouch that they are good cruise lines.

But, there are some differences among these cruise lines. Princess, Celebrity and Holland America have great ships and have more reserved passengers. Holland America has more senior citizens cruising on its ships. Carnival has more first time cruiser and young people who want to party, party, party. Royal Caribbean caters most to families and has the most and best on ship activities. Royal Caribbean's web site is the easiest to find specials on; the link to its "hot deals" is in red. RC is my favorite !!!

I have been all over the Caribbean, plus the Mediterranean, Baltic, Alaska and the Panama Canal. I Caribbean cruise is always a good cruise (except maybe during the June through October hurricane season) because it has great beaches, weather and fun things to do.  Plus you can shop and/or tour Mayan ruins if you go to the Western Caribbean.  My advice is not to pick a date and then look for a cruise.  Pick a cruise first that has a good price and then go for that date when the price is the lowest.  My personal preference is the Western Caribbean.

  6. If you want a "really all-inclusive" cruise, you're going to have to go top-of-the-line [Regent, Crystal, etc] and pay top dollar.

The mass-market cruises [Carnival, RCL, NCL, etc] include meals and limited types of non-alcoholic beverages, as well as most activities on the ship.  You will pay "extra" for alcohol, bingo, tips, excursions, premium eateries, wine-tastings, etc.

For a first cruise, the Caribbean is perfect.  You can find cruises at many websites:  Travelocity, Expedia, VacationsToGo, Orbitz, etc, as well as the cruiseline's websites.

I suggest you get a book from your library about cruising and use it to get an idea of what cruising is like and what type of ship and itinerary is right for you.  Once you have a general idea, you can get more detailed, up-to-date, first-hand info at CruiseCritic.com [click on "Boards" and/or "Reviews"].

  7. almost all cruises are all inclusive exculding alchol but i love carnival go there

  8. ROYAL CARIBBEAN!!!!! It is the BEST cruise line there is. We did the eastern, western and southern caribbean and Jamica, Cozomel, Labadee(private), St. Thomas are all very nice and exciting islands. www.royalcaribbean.com can give you all the info and you can search for any destinations and find cruises with that information.

  9. On most cruises you must pay extra for all soft and alcoholic drinks, spa treatments and excursions.

there are always won or two specialty restaurants on each ship where there is a small cover charge .  However if you choose one of these restaurants get comfortable because you are not only going to get a wonderful meal, probably 5 courses you will also be enjoying the ambiance and the waiters take their time bringing the food.  It is supposed to be an experience not just a dinner.

There are other places on the ship to eat for free, the buffet and the dining room, on deck or by the pool.  On Norwegian cruise lines there are usually about 8 restaurants to choose from that are included in your cruise fare!  You can eat in any of those at any time, no scheduled hours for dinner or seating.

Regent Seven seas will give you soft drinksw and wine for free on their ships, but they are quite expensive, but gorgeous ships!

If you want more info on cruising go to my web site, www.SailingTheSea.com.  Left hand side ,scroll down and pick a subject.  It should give you an insight to cruising and different cruise specialties.

If you have any questions, I will be glad to help you find a great cruise for a price you can afford.
