  1. yes. It was for a science fair project. I was supposed to test out a backpack with more padding and extra support in it.

It felt great. It was the most tackiest backpack I have ever seen.. but it felt AMAZING.

  2. yes. today actually. i ran an experiment and was quite irritated by the last person not letting anyone else know the balance was broken...so i wasted 2 hours of life looking for another balance to use. i won't know the results until probably 2 more weeks...because it takes that long to get someone from the other department to analyze the raw data--even though they said they want data ASAP. (i just had to let that out)

  3. Ya.  As a Freshman in University, I took a Psych 101 class and we were encouraged to volunteer for psychology experiments by the grad students.   This one experiment required bilingual volunteers (I speak both English and Spanish) to have a half-hour videotaped interview in each language.

Afterwards, the grad student let me know what the experiment was about.   She was studying hand gestures.  It turned out my hand gestures increased by something like 20% when I was speaking Spanish.

The main thing I remember was that the Grad student was *gorgeous* (she was from Spain).  Spending an hour talking with her was *great*.   My first Freshman crush.

    :-)
