  1. I hope my suggestion could be helpful. And here is resource that I am used to use.Check it out.http://health-insurance.expert-tip.info/...

  2. Health insurance is different than life insurance.

Australia's private health insurance may be expensive (me and my partner paying $2000 pa) but we claimed it back with dental ($400), eyecare ($200), chiropractor ($200), acupuncture ($200), and 1.5% tax rebate. It also covers private hospitalization and ambulance service, if in the event its needed.

Life insurance pay out lump sums in the event the life insured is diagnosed with terminal illness or specified illness/injuries. Well blessfully I have not claim any of these benefits, so I will not know if my claim will be materialize one day.

If health care and medical care is affordable to the general public, there will be no need for insurance.

I get insurance because I want to protect my assets and savings. If I can someday uses free money to pay for my medical bills instead of my own savings, I won't complain.

  3. No, I've never been cheated by ANY insurance company.

I've used my health insurance, with bills totalling nearly $1,000,000, and they have paid every cent that they are supposed to pay.

Insurance companies are regulated by each state's insurance department. Their policies, coverages, and premiums have to be appoved before they can sell them.

Insurance policies will pay EXACTLY what they are supposed to....no more, and no less.

If you were "cheated" by an insurance company, you didn't understand what coverages you had or what it would or would not pay for. It paid every dime that it was SUPPOSED to pay.
