Have you ever been scamed on the internet?

i had a so called part job taking money orders and cashing them and the remainder of the money i was suppose to be sent western union back to them. when i went to get the money order cashed at the post office they said it was FAKE. but the clerk turned them in and keep the money orders. but they didnt get any money out of me. i dont want them to send me anything else so what else should i do? should i contact them and tell them to stop sending me things?

YES: BY GRANT MASTER, SO I TURNED THEM INTO THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION, AND MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND THEY TOOK CARE OF THIS PROBLEM.

tell the police these kind of scams are very common and can be traced and you probably have some kind of proof that they scammed you in an email or something so it wont be hard proving it
