Have you ever been scammed over the internet?

I have out of 220 dollars, for a ps3 that never showed up, The person had the greatest story too and i believe every bit of it.. Til weeks later nothing ever showed up.. Would have been more but we agreed to send part of the money and they would send it then i would send the rest.

Anyone else been scammed? What for, how much, etc.?

Most I've been scammed was 30K gold pieces on an online game O_o.

It still sucks though since time is money and vice versa. So I was scammed out of an hour of time. -.-"

When I was new to the internet and e-bay (a couple years ago) I fell for an e-mail that said someone had been trying to access my paypal account and I needed to log in and check my balance.

They got my account number for my bank and started withdrawing little amounts, like twenty here, forty there, eight here.

I called the bank and they got my money back for me. Since then I have learned about 'phishing' and when I get a 'phishing' e-mail from someone about my paypal account I sent it to  [e-mail]

yes i have for a ps3 too but i spent 175 dollars and never got it

You should only buy from well known sites like Ebay, Amazon e.t.c.
