  1. No!

  2. Yes, that is why I have nothing to do with organized religion. I love and believe in God, but I don't attach myself to groups of hypocrites whose real concern is the all mighty buck.

  3. yes many times. In spanish there is a proverb "Even the devil goes to church. people go to church to try to find answers  to life, to find God.  You will not find saints in church.  But keep your eyes on God,don't let the evil one try to discourage you.

  4. Theres two reasons why people get snubbed at church

    *  Gossip - christians would have to be the biggest gossip mongers of

all times - ministers are no acception to this rule.

    *  Money - if you've got money they will kiss your behind and if you

don't have money they don't want to know you.

    It is that simple....

  5. I'm sure I have, I just wasn't bothered enough to keep it in my memory bank.  I have had friends tell me their stories of being snubbed or gossiped about, while in the "House of the Lord".  The church is made up of people.  There lies the problem.  People are fallible, yes even christians.  I really am sympathetic with people who have been hurt in the church.  These people really are seeking answers and they believe that the church body is going to give them direction and help.  They are quickly disillusioned when confronted with the fact that these church members are just as lost as they are.  I would love to go to a church that was all about God.  I keep being told that I haven't found the right church.  Lord knows it hasn't been from lack of trying.  I guess I'll just keep searching.

  6. My parents were snubbed bigtime, which is the reason they don't go to church anymore.  The main time I know of is when they got married--mom was pregnant at the time, and they wouldn't let her get married in the church.  Then someone else was far more visibly pregnant a few months later, and the church was fine with marrying them--can't remember the reason, but it was to do with WHO she was, rather than a matter of morality.

There were other instances as well.  Mom got really fed up with organized religion and refuses to go to any church.

  7. Yeah have been, but that's easy to happen to me cause I have a bad hearing problem and they think I'm being rude sometimes.

One other reason is that I strongly believed others were gossiping about me.  There was quite a bit of evidence so some were being mean for no reason other than hearing some rumor about me which was misinterpreted.
