When I was a kid I was struck by lightning.  It was a huge storm that was flooding out basement.  Me & my parents were bailing out the basement.  I was taking a break with a glass of water standing by the front window.  And bam!  I remember seeing a small blue bolt go right thru my ears.  It went from the right and out the left.  It scared the living daylights out of me!  :)

Well, I don't know if this counts exactly, but yes...

I was working on a flight to Sydney, Australia and when we began descent the aircraft got hit by lightning a total of 9 times.

Big bang, flashes of light and the plane shook a lot.

No, but a family friend was struck by lightning 3 times!  He is now permanently messed up(well, not all there), but somehow survived all three strikes with non-life threatening  injuries.

No,and I pray I never do. When my mother was a young girl she saw a man standing under a tree near their house to get some cover from the rain. She saw lightning strike and kill him. I think she was 12 yrs.old when that happened and went to school with the mans kids.
