  1. No, that's irresponsible actions.  I keep gas in my tank.

  2. Hey, C.W.!

Yup, once... Mostly, here, the fear is overheating. THAT happens ALL the time. Not a joy.  }:>

  3. Yes. It has been a long time ago when I used to live near Chicago. I was tired after work so I did not stop and put in fuel. In the morning, I woke up late and got stuck in Chicago traffic and I was stuck. No one will help you during rush hour. It took me 30 min to get my car pushed to the side of the road 30 feet ahead. People kept going around both sides and would not let me by.

  4. Oh, that would suck. No, it hasn't happened to me *touch wood*

  5. nope!

    ~peace~ ^_^

  6. No, but I have been traveling and come to an unattended toll bridge that only takes coins and found out that all my coins were in my carry on bag in the trunk. This has happened twice! I stopped the car, got out, grabbed the coins and got back in. Pissed a couple of people off, but that's life.

  7. Not yet but this is going to happen more & more now a day's.

  8. No.....but I run out of fuel...hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Never.  I'm always aware of how much fuel is in the car.

The transmission did give out once, during a stop-and-go commute during rush hour.  I was on the fast lane of the highway.  And, as luck would have it, the traffic began to speed up when my transmission died.  Oh, joy!

I called the operator, and she told me it was time to call 911.  After that, a cop and a guy in a tow truck came, and my car was towed to one of the nearby streets.  Then I had to call a real tow truck company to tow the car to my house.

But, get this, the 2nd tow truck driver left my car partially blocking the drive way, which was being used by my neighbor and me.  He thought I could get in the car and set it on Reverse, to ease it away from the drive way.

The car wouldn't budge.  With three people, pushing it, it wouldn't budge.

So,  I had to call another tow truck company, to tow the truck about 5 feet back, next to the pavement.  It was somewhere between 9 and 10 PM after it was all done.  My car's transmission had died shortly after 4 PM.  I spent more than 5 hours getting this stupid car in front of my house (a lot of the time was spent waiting for the trucks to arrive).  My car saw 3 tow trucks.

  10. I once bought a used car and the people didn't bother to tell me the gas gauge didn't work. I found out in the middle of traffic. I got to meet three guys who were willing to help me.  : )

  11. Nope, I always keep 1/4 tank if I can.

  12. I've come close , toooo close , but , no , I haven't

  13. The only thing I ran out of in traffic is patience!!!!

  14. No, NOT YET but, I often think about it....now more than ever!

I TRY my best to not go slightly below HALF...... "TRY"...lol..
