Can you simplify what they do? (I don't mean the kind that get blood.)

  1. yeah, unfortunately. They make me tired after I've spoken to them and really really negative.

hehe...giving out a hollar would be a GOOD thing, I think!

  2. Hi

No but I have been mentally and physically stressed by people who knew exactly which buttons to push. These are usually negative people with one thought on their mind - to make life miserable.

  3. If you were, how could you tell?  You might say that you were drained or tired or depressed, then a psychic vampire takes credit for it. Or a psychic vampire might tell you that they are going to suck your energy, then your power of suggestion makes it seem to happen. In either case, it's fictitious. Or perhaps you were simply tired at the end of the day as many of us are, and there was no psychic vampire at all. So, in my opinion any claims of being a victim of a psychic vampire are really just faith-base claims.

The link below is a "psychic vampire" FAQ. From a science/critical thinkin point of view it's completely hilarious, but it's actually what "psychic vampires" seem to believe about themselves.

  4. I don't understand why this guy is making such a big deal out of it.  Some people just drain you.  It's not a conscious effort.  People are just naturally attracted, and I don't care who you are, to people who are high energy people.  I think we all, at times, have felt energized in the presence of another,  it doesn't necessarily mean we're draining them.  Some people just give off good energy and we like to be around it.  However, I do believe in psychic attack, where a person deliberately sends out "bad vibes" (for lack of a better word) to another, which can have a negative affect on them.  Wear (white light) protection!

  5. omg yes.. I didnt know these things even existed.. my husband though was a firm beleiver

anyhow one day at work (retail) a woman customer came in and instantly I felt sick when working with her..

I realized later she had been draining me.

  6. Yes I have. They are in my family and don't even know that they are doing it.

  7. It may be that those who consider themselves to be psychic vampires are the real victims. Such people have a strange view of life, one which I find impossible to share. I suppose my attitude toward them some how sours the milk, so I can't say I've been a victim. Quite the opposite...

  8. How funny, I come on here and everyone has one thumb down except the last one, Mycroft.  Did he just go through and thumbs down everyone?  How constructive.  I think Mycroft is a psychic vampire.

  9. Who hasn't been somewhere with a group of people where someone said something or did something, and killed the mood.  What is the difference between this and psychic vampires?  Reading your link, and TR's, confirmed to me what I already believed.  People made up an elaborate phony new agey construct to explain people with social problems.  It's a lot more interesting to say you're an energy vampire than a party pooper.
