Have you ever been to Frankfurt am main?

Frankfurt Am Main is a great city to go for night out in the town, some shopping, great food, and lots of sky scraper finance buildings.  There is not much history in this city, but with the money and people there it has lots of great food and an excellent place for a night out.

Frankfurt is a nice city, it is best if you want to see the city to go on a tour, the tourguides will show you all the cities big attractions.  The Main river is nice to see, also if you ask at the hotel you are staying at they can give you a map, and show you were the major attractions are, and how to get to them.

I am traveling Europe at the moment and used to leave in Germany. I've been to Frankfurt many times and honestly (sorry Frankfurt) I do not understand, why someone would like to go there as a tourist. Most Germans have no desire in going there, it's called Mainhatten, becaus it is the bank city of Germany, based at the river Main. There are so many more beatiful cities close by to see and enjoy. Frankfurt has a good night life, true, but that is about it.

I live in Frankfurt Sachs en Hausen  is cool if you are in to Bars & Pubs there is all kinds of things to do & the surounding areas

Frankfurt Intl Airport is like world-class!  I say this has got to be the best airport to land in Europe.  There are underground metro going directly into city center where you can transfer to trains to throughout Europe.  Frankfurt doesn't seem much of a tourist destination.. or maybe I haven't explored it around much.  It has good shopping, nightlife and food variety.  Very modern city for the most part.

Frankfurt is a business city not a tourist town. If you are going there on business you'll find plenty of nice restaurants and hotels but if you are looking for a holiday catch the train somewhere else. Now for one day there I would recommend some of the art museums.
